Newmen Evolution SL E.G. 35 29″ Boost Rear Wheel

Wheel with 35mm inner width for laps in the bikepark and all those hard chargers participating in enduro races. The rim width of the Evolution SL E.G. strikes a perfect balance for average enduro tires and allows low pressures while preventing folding of the tires in corners and compressions. The NEWMEN FADE rear hub makes for a more immersive experience on the trail due to its quiet freewheel system.

Super tough enduro wheel: the Evolution SL E.G. 35 from Newmen

Based on our lightweight and durable NEWMEN Evolution SL rims, Newmen has reinforced the profile even further resulting in the Evolution E.G. rims being extremely resistant against dents. In fact they are 40% more durable than the already very strong SL A.35 rims. As with the regular rims from Newmen, the profile is completly round and the flared flanges keep the tyre rounder on top of making the rims so hard-wearing against dents and deformation.

Materials are deployed precisely at critical points and shaved off elsewhere. The flat spoke bed is designed to work the special washers for extremely high spoke tension values whilst keeping the amount of material used down to a minimum. In contrast, the flanges are substantially thicker than on other rims in the same weight class for added strength and durability. In combination with the Newmen Evolution SL hubs and Sapim Race (2,0-1,8-2,0) spokes it is possible to build a durable and lightweight gravity wheelset.
